When this page was initially created, the intent was to list some generic problems that could be resolved by anyone with a little computer knowledge. However, that was eight years ago. Since then Windows XP has been declared dead and then re-incarnated in different forms by Vista, Windows 7 and then by Windows 8.

The world of computers has become more complicated and more diversified. There is no way that anyone can know everything because things change too quickly, there is too much to know, and new problems of unknown origins pop up all the time.
